Co-Founder

Mr. Green has worked in the field of public safety for the past 40 years. His work experience has included both government service and the establishment of an innovative company.  Mr. Green started his career as a probation officer during which time he received a Master’s Degree in Criminal Justice Administration from Arizona State University. He went on to serve 10 years as a staff assistant to the U.S. Senate Judiciary Committee before entering the private sector. His primary duties with the Senate Judiciary Committee involved issues and legislation impacting public safety services. During his tenure, Mr. Green was instrumental in writing legislation that focused attention and resources on improvements in public safety technology and communications. 

Mr. Green teamed with Charles DeWitt to form Lafayette Group in 1994. The two co-founders have built Lafayette Group into a well-known and highly respected company that includes approximately 70 professional employees, many of whom have numerous years of experience in public safety communications and operational services. Mr. Green’s vast experience both in government and the private sector has resulted in a management and business model for his company that has proven to be successful in supporting the public safety community.

Mr. Green is also recognized for his highly successful career as an NFL referee that has spanned over 20 years and included refereeing three Super Bowls.
