Jonathan Kennedy


Prior to joining the Lafayette Group, Mr. Kennedy spent 3 years as a Project Manager and Researcher at the National Consortium for the Study of Terrorism and Responses to Terrorism, a Center of Excellence of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security based at the University of Maryland. Additionally, he taught undergraduate courses on criminology and terrorism at the University of Maryland, and a graduate course on terrorism in George Mason University’s Biodefense program. In 2013, he was selected to participate in the Bureau of Justice Statistic's Quantitative Analysis of Crime and Criminal Justice Data Summer Workshop hosted by the Inter-University Consortium for Political and Social Research. He received a B.A. in Political Science from the University of Florida and a M.A. in International Affairs with a concentration in U.S. Foreign Policy from American University.

Presently, Mr. Kennedy provides support to the U.S. Department of Homeland Security’s Office of Emergency Communications on various programs to improve interoperability between Federal, state, and local public safety agencies.
