Larry Ferraro

Senior Associate

Larry Ferraro has extensive expertise in public safety and emergency communications consulting. Prior to joining the Lafayette Group, he supported a Department of Homeland Security’s (DHS) Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) client focused on efforts to align and modernize the agency’s disaster emergency communications capabilities. In this role, he collaborated with federal, state, and local public safety entities by leading data collection interviews with critical agencies to better understand state and territory communications capabilities. He also helped manage public safety grants (Broadband Technology Opportunities Program [BTOP] and Public Safety Interoperable Communications [PSIC] Grant Program) under the leadership of FEMA and the Department of Commerce’s National Telecommunications and Information Administration (NTIA). Most recently as grants/project manager, he managed multiple public safety and community infrastructure grants.  He earned a bachelor’s degree in History from Cornell University and is a PMI-certified Project Management Professional (PMP).

At the Lafayette Group, Larry provides coordination and completes outreach activities for the firm’s federal government and public safety clients.
