Lafayette Group Awarded Contract to Provide Cybersecurity Support

April 1, 2017

Lafayette Group was recently awarded a contract to provide cybersecurity governance, technical assistance and training for the DHS, Cybersecurity and Communications Division (CS&C), Federal Network Resilience (FNR) Office.  FNR leads DHS’ role in implementing the Federal Information Security Modernization Act (FISMA) and provides civilian agencies across the federal government with cybersecurity guidance, assistance and consultative services.

Lafayette Group’s role will help FNR:

  • Improve cybersecurity programs and organizations through model governance and guidance to stakeholders;
  • Build a training and assistance program to help federal civilian agencies build and integrate cybersecurity capabilities; and
  • Support the Continuous Diagnostics and Mitigation (CDM) Program through stakeholder governance assistance and training.

Lafayette Group’s Cybersecurity Capability Team is building more effective cybersecurity organizations by integrating security and risk management processes across the organization. We help cybersecurity leaders build guidance and training campaigns for non-technical stakeholders that lead to quicker adoption of cybersecurity policies and required actions.   Lafayette Group also develops cybersecurity strategic plans, builds governance structures and roles and responsibilities guides, and trains leaders, managers, and cybersecurity professionals through easy to understand, non-technical sessions.
