Interoperable Communications Technical Assistance Program

To implement local interoperability plans, Lafayette Group has supported major urban areas by providing technical assistance, training, and agency support through the Interoperable Communications Technical Assistance Program (ICTAP).  The program provides free technical assistance to enhance interoperable communications among Federal, State, and local emergency responders and public safety officials in cities and States that have received grants from the DHS Office of Grants and Training.  Lafayette Group provides subject matter experts (SMEs) and support staff both onsite, as well as working directly with units of State and local government.  SMEs serve as technical resources to answer questions and assist agencies with the challenges and complexities of interoperable communications.
