Regional Tactical Interoperable Communications Plan Development- NJ

The Lafayette Group was contracted by the State of New Jersey to develop four regional Tactical Interoperable Communications Plans (TICP) based on the State’s Homeland Security Regions. Originally completed in 2011 and then updated in 2013, the New Jersey Regional TICPs detail available interoperable communications resources, identify who controls each resource and the rules or operational procedures for the activation and deactivation of each resource.  Updated and well-maintained TICPs, these plans provide New Jersey emergency responders with the ability to access all of the State’s interoperability resources at a moment’s notice. Lafayette Group staff oversaw the entire process, including hosting regional TICP workshops, inventorying assets statewide, and writing the plan. Our staff worked closely with the local stakeholders to ensure consistency and accuracy across all four plans.
